We believe that

1. man was created in innocence under the law of his Maker but (Genesis 3:1-6);
2. by voluntary transgression fell from his sinless and happy state (Romans 5:12; Romans 5:19);
3. in consequence of which transgression, all mankind are now sinners, not only by constraint, but by choice (Romans 3:10-19; Ephesians 2:1,3; Romans 1:18; Ezekiel 18:19- 20; and
4. man is therefore under just condemnation and without defense or excuse (Romans 1:32; Romans 1:20; Romans 1:28; Galatians 3:22).
